Local companies collaborate to donate life saving medical equipment to the people of Stonehaven

As part of the company community return policy, Safe Building Services have collaborated with other local businesses in Stonehaven to provide the local community with access to a life saving defibrillator. Which has been dedicated to the memory of local First Responder Cambell McLuckie.

For every minute someone is in cardiac arrest without CPR and access to a defibrillator, their chances of survival drops by up to 10%.
Having access to a defibrillator in an emergency can be lifesaving, especially in rural areas where ambulance response times may be longer.

At Safe Building Services we always try to support local communities where we carry out our work, from local sports teams to community projects such as this one.

Everyone at Safe Building Services would like to thank all the other companies involved in the project and sincerely hope that the defibrillator is never needed. If the defibrillator is needed in an emergency, we hope that it provides the vital medical assistance required in the case of cardiac arrest until professional emergency medical assistance arrives and increases the chance of survival.
