Testing over 400,000 electrical appliances a year, Safe Building Services have a team of fully qualified PAT Engineers, covering the whole of Scotland and the North of England, from small shops, hotel groups, multi-site retail units and large local authorities, our PAT Engineers have experience of all kinds of environments.

Having electrical items formally inspected and testing is regarding as best practice in ensuring compliance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 by ensuring that any electrical equipment that has the potential to cause unjustly is maintained and in a safe condition. The inspection and testing of electrical appliances is also a requirement of many business insurance providers.

Safe Building Services offer a hassle free service with all required electrical appliance inspected and tested to the highest standards in-line with the 5th Edition of the IET’s Code of Practice for the In-service Inspection & Testing of Electrical Equipment. Once the inspection and testing has been carried out, a full digital schedule of results is provided, with a completion certificate and a user checks poster.
